Ohio awards $2.4 million to 12 groups using tech to fight opioid abuse

The Ohio Third Frontier program has awarded $2.4 million to 12 organizations working on technologies meant to address the opioid crisis.

Four of those organizations are based in Ohio, and three are in Northeast Ohio. The out-of-state applicants “had to demonstrate a partnership with an in-state entity,” according to a news release announcing the awards.
